GROUP CLASS AND OPEN GYM SESSION DESCRIPTIONS

The following is a description of the GROUP CLASSES and OPEN GYM sessions that the West End Athletic Club has to offer:

FITNESS BOXING
Fundamentals of boxing combined with high intensity interval training.  Improve your cardio, endurance, core conditioning, co-ordination, flexibility and strength while learning boxing techniques. Focus on footwork drills, plyometrics and high intensity interval training.

Suitable for all fitness levels depending on the intensity you choose.  No boxing experience required.  50 minutes – NON CONTACT.

TECHNICAL BOXING
Advanced boxing techniques are concentrated on in this class in addition to high intensity interval training.

Suitable for all fitness levels depending on the intensity you choose.  No boxing experience required. 50 minutes – NON CONTACT.

TECHNICAL BOXING ETOBIKE - TORONTO

BODY SCULPTING
This class incorporates an introduction to weight lifting, strength and conditioning, as well as functional movements.  Create and sculpt the physique you’ve always wanted.
50 minutes – NON CONTACT.

KICKBOXING
Learn basic kickboxing fundamentals – proper stance and how to throw basic punches, kicks and knees. This class incorporates footwork drills, body weight exercises, interval training and core training.

Suitable for all fitness levels depending on the pace you set for yourself.  NO previous kickboxing experience required – 50 minutes.

OPEN GYM SESSIONS
During this session you will have access to our high performance training space equipped with state-of-the-art cardio and strength equipment and our boxing equipment – heavy bags, speed bags, uppercut and wrecking balls. 60 minutes.

 

MEMBERSHIP OPTIONS
OPEN GYM MEMBERSHIP required for unlimited access to scheduled OPEN GYM sessions.
UNLIMITED MEMBERSHIP required for unlimited access to scheduled OPEN GYM sessions and unlimited scheduled GROUP CLASSES.  All OPEN GYM sessions and GROUP classes must be pre-booked prior to coming to the gym.
